The role you’ll contribute:

Radiologic Technologists perform Radiographic Examinations that create images for diagnosis. Radiography integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. Radiographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in Radiographic positioning and exposure technique. Radiologic Technologists prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate Radiographic Examinations.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Fluoroscopic procedures in the Radiology Department, not limited to the following: Myelograms, IVP, Lumbar puncture, Joint injection, Joint aspiration, Arthrograms, ESI injections, Discograms, Nerve Blocks, Dobhoff, port checks.

· On-call hours required per department need

· Specialized procedure in a surgical setting, not limited to the following: Posterior Cervical Fusion, Corpectomy, A/O/T/X/P-Lif, Kyphoplasty and SI fusion.

· Can perform procedures in a percutaneous and open approach.

· Utilize any specific imaging equipment needed to perform procedures.

· Utilize two c-arms simultaneously.

· Can perform all post operative images.

· On-call hours required per department need

· Coordinate with Supervisor and the OR/Endo departments for Technologist and Equipment needs based on case start times

· Assist Supervisor for staff training

· Assist Supervisor monitoring and communicating radiology equipment preventative maintenance downtime and equipment service tickets

· Uploading all outside imaging for OR procedures

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· High School education or equivalent and graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

· State of Florida Radiologic License.

· ARRT Registered or Registry eligible.

· CPR

· BLS required
