Are you a highly energetic and passionate professional who is keen to drive impactful events, activations and partnerships to ignite the love of the LEGO® brand to millions of children? We are looking for a brand relations professional to join our amazing PUB (Poland, Ukraine&Baltics) Marketing team to support and to accelerate how we communicate about our business, our values and our brands through the delivery of plans across PR, Influencers, Events, Brand partnerships, social media and AFOLs (adults fans of LEGO) that engage and inspire our audiences. Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Lead key earned/PR activities and event strategy in PUB to drive affinity & awareness

  • Drive strategic partnership and influencers agenda

  • Leverage AFOL (Adult Fans of LEGO) community outreach and engagement to complement and augment the LEGO image

  • Develop storylines that excite consumers, shoppers and media

  • Represent the brand to a broad range of external partners: this includes being a contact for media (where/when needed) and being a primal contact for local PR/marketing representatives, and local PR agencies.

  • Collaborate with legal and other internal departments to ensure compliance and LEGO brand guidelines and lead local crisis management

  • Directly manage external relationships including PR agency, event agency, licensee partner, strategic partnerships

  • Assess and respond to incoming requests for brand participation in third-party events and activations

The Brand Relations and Events Manager position sits within the Poland& Baltics &Ukraine marketing team and plays a crucial part in ensuring that the LEGO brand continues to grow and be the leading toy brand within CEEMEA region. This team brings one of the world’s most iconic brands, and it’s products for consumers and shoppers to life and consists of amazing marketeers who distil audience insights, take decisions rooted in data, and develop and implement effective marketing plans, with 360 campaigns including traditional and digital media, events and instore execution, ensuring strong media presence and engagement. We translate global audience and franchise strategies into local go-to-market-strategies for the PUB region.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong background in PR, communications, events with demonstrated track record in generating and maintaining relationships

  • Understanding of the polish PR&Media landscape

  • Able to demonstrate strong communications skills, writing ability in Polish and English

  • Ability to influence senior partners across the business unit and region

  • Strong collaborator both in internal multifunctional teams and with external partners

  • Required travel within PUB (up to 15 days per year), sometimes including weekends

  • Willingness to organise and take part on different events on weekends (appr. once every two months)
