Digital Marketing Specialist

Currently, we are looking for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area or Greater Toronto area.

Why We Need You

PagerDuty seeks a dynamic Digital Marketing Specialist to support our customer acquisition activations across Paid Media Channels. As an integral Global Demand Generation and Growth team member, you will support our go-to-market efforts, including executing end-to-end paid marketing campaigns, optimizing ad platform performance, crafting insightful dashboards, and delivering impactful insights to internal stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in driving PagerDuty's efficient scaling and propelling our acquisition funnel toward our $1B revenue goal.

You're an experienced navigator of digital channels and tactics and can autonomously manage ad platforms effectively. You have a knack for building successful relationships with external vendors to launch campaigns and achieve our goals. Your expertise extends beyond execution—you excel in data organization and visualization, trend extraction, and process automation. Working smarter is your motto.

With a natural inclination towards organization and a collaborative spirit, you effortlessly support the team with project management and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities - How You Impact Our Vision

  • Act in a multidisciplinary role supporting awareness and demand channels, collaborating closely with Performance Marketing Managers on channel and project management. This includes streamlining workflows and ensuring timely deliverables encompassing account setup, research, cross-functional coordination and alignment, experimentation, analysis, and campaign execution.

  • Identify opportunities for process automation with our leads and implement solutions to reduce manual toil, enhancing team productivity and efficiency

  • Build and maintain team dashboards and reports that are scalable for the team to review and quickly identify trends, opportunities, and outliers

  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and trends in-depth to gauge program effectiveness, consistently refining strategies for optimal ROI. This includes comprehensive campaign audits to seek out new avenues of untapped opportunities

  • Foster collaboration with other teams such as Marketing Technology, Procurement, SEO, Brand, Web, and Analytics to glean actionable insights, drive optimizations, and surface opportunities for synergy

  • Strong awareness of the digital marketing ecosystem and understanding of which channels and tactics work the best for each objective

  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a penchant for building scalable processes and workflows

  • Comfortable delving into big data, adept at extracting trends and crafting compelling narratives, and ultimately understanding marketing attribution and tracking setup to measure success

  • Cross-functional solid communication with stakeholders from marketing operations, creative, finance, and web teams

  • Able to develop and manage agile tests for conversion rate optimization (CRO) and continuous learning

  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, exhibiting self-starting tendencies and a proactive approach to problem-solving, does not shy away from taking calculated risks

  • You're on top of the latest updates and pilots of the ad platforms and in touch with what's going on in the industry

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 years of multi-channel campaign management expertise, including LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and Microsoft Ads, with an expert grasp of paid channel platforms & capabilities.

  • 2 years of direct partner buying, negotiation, and 3rd party vendor management experience

  • 2+ years experience with the following analytical tools and platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Periscope, GA4

  • 2+ years of project management experience from inception, execution, and data analysis

  • 2+ years of B2B experience in mid-size or enterprise organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience with SaaS, understands how to market to developers or technical audiences

  • 1 year of experience in ABM tools like Demandbase, 6Sense

  • 1 year of experience in Salesforce

  • Experience with Excel shortcuts, macros, and SQL knowledge - you might be a data scientist at heart!

  • You have direct conversion-rate optimization experience focused on optimizing creatives and/or landing pages.

The base salary range for this position is 77,000 - 108,000 CAD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
