We are recruiting for an exciting role in our commercial team in Measurement Control & Sample Identification (MCS) product portfolio.

Job Title: Sales Manager, Safety & Security And Radiation SEA and Taiwan

Discover Impactful Work:

As a Sales Manager you are responsible for handling business operation with our trusted Channel Partners and cultivating strong relationship with key customers. You will develop business strategies to drive growth together with Channel Partners.

A day in the Life:

  • Develop channel commercial plans to achieve and exceed growth targets working closely with local commercial teams, business unit and marketing functions.

  • Initiate, build and develop relationships with key customer accounts promoting business opportunities. Be the Thermo Fisher Scientific brand ambassador in the country.

  • Use SalesForce Dot Com (SFDC) CRM as the primary reporting tool. Accurately forecast territory results, provide market intelligence, implement value selling and meet sales objectives.

  • Assess and measure channel partner performance using channel management framework. Constantly looking at initiatives to drive channel motivation and customer engagements.

  • Successfully communicate with the regional Marketing team to develop local marketing plan and promote products with channel partner catering to local demands and opportunities

  • Attend trade conferences, seminars and engagement sessions with govt agencies.

  • Support our channel partner to improve sales and product competency. Organize relevant training and supporting collaterals against competition.

  • Provide regular, timely feedback on business development for the region

  • Understand and monitor competitive landscape and the impact on our channel development strategy

  • Conduct due diligence, and ensure channel compliances to Thermo Fisher policy.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Engineering field

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of sales/commercial experience in handling distributors in defense and government sectors. Strong in Optical Spectroscopy Instrument sales. Familiar with government tender processes.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong market knowledge and professional networks.

  • Commercial mentality, strongly motivated by a desire to win new business.

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and competitors

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

  • High energy, team player and capability of working under pressure.

  • High willingness to learn POA and RMSI product portfolio

  • Willing to travel 50-60%
