What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be the expert in the finance, accounting, and controlling activities. You will be responsible for managing internal controls, accounting procedures and policies, and general administrative activities. Other duties will include:

  • General finance, accounting and controlling activities including closing and recording transactions, journal entries, general ledger, trial balance, income statement, cash flow and balance sheet account maintenance.

  • development of accounting procedures and policies

  • internal controls, managerial and cost accounting, financial reporting, banking, budgeting, audit management, cash, insurance and risk management

  • capital expenditure business case development, tax compliance, A/R and A/P management, collections, and check processing

  • general administrative activities including freight forwarding and logistics, legal and contract management, building and facilities maintenance, equipment, security, and ISIT / ERP systems management

  • Inventory management and cycle count

  • Maintaining a number one priority of safety

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, business, finance, and human resources

  • Accounting and Finance skills including experience with general ledger, trial balance, internal controls procedures, cash management, budgeting and adjusting journal entries

  • Able to record and report business transactions in accordance with GAAP

  • Human Resource management skills a plus

  • General business administrative skills, including ability to manage freight forwarding and logistics, legal and contract management, facilities maintenance and security and ISIT/ERP systems management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player
