Warehouse Associate I (Fleet Care)

Help us drive energy transformation by performing a vital role in the operation of the warehouse, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer orders. While working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for several tasks including picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as receiving and storing inventory. Your primary goal will be to maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy to meet customer needs and expectations.

Hexagon Agility is a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions in the transport sector.  Our technology enables it hard to decarbonize segments – such as trucks and buses – to move from diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven colleague that wants to work closely with our local operations team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Counts, weighs, or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records; examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with supervisor to rectify; completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.

  • Prepares materials for shipping to Hexagon Agility FleetCare standards by weighing, packaging, crating, and banding; prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading and shipping labels.

  • Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.

  • Participates in counting and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.

  • Pull parts for customer orders from shelves or storage locations based on documentation.

  • Participates in 5S activities within the warehouse and outside storage areas.

  • Performs cycle counts of inventory and non-inventory items as requested utilizing hand counts or weight counts.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Inspires, motivates, and collaborates with others in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated; able to work with minimal direction and strong attention to detail.

  • Anticipates needs and problems while creating solutions.

  • Basic Computer Skills

Credentials and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 1+ year experience in a warehouse environment

Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
