Title and Summary

Program Director - AI Business Governance

The Data Strategy & Management organization (Chief Data Office) is responsible for the strategy, acquisition, evaluation, and responsible use of all types of data and data capabilities that can be utilized for innovation by a wide range of Mastercard products, consulting, and internal business teams.

The Program Director for AI Business Governance will own the formal AI business governance process enabling Mastercard to effectively deploy priority use cases at speed by aligning multiple workstreams and processes led by different business teams to enable Mastercard to be a leader in the responsible deployment of Generative AI and to drive significant growth and efficiency for the business.

Role

  • Establish and manage an agile and adaptive business governance framework to effectively manage change and a fast-evolving technology and business environment.

  • Synthesize many individual AI use cases against a strategic framework to maximize benefit to the organization.

  • Actively manage the workstream including project stakeholders to ensure commitments are met and delivery remains on schedule.

  • Effectively communicate statuses to many audiences, from executive leadership to tactical project management.

  • Experience leading complex technology innovation and change management projects

  • Ability to structure and organize complex work with many dependencies

  • Understanding of common data technologies

  • Experience managing vendor relationships

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
