Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Specialist in Oceanside, California. This role is in a public agency and involves managing Workers' Compensation claims process. The successful candidate will be responsible for filing claims through relevant portals and systems, analyzing claim data, and ensuring accurate and compliant payment processing for claimants.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiently manage Workers' Compensation claims process, ensuring all activities are thoroughly documented.

• File claims through relevant portals and systems, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

• Utilize spreadsheets to analyze claim data, making necessary modifications to job duties as required.

• Collaborate with occupational medical professionals to ensure the best outcomes for claimants.

• Ensure accurate and compliant payment processing for claimants, using Microsoft Suite for documentation and communication purposes.

• Implement return-to-work programs in accordance with Workers' Compensation guidelines.

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HCM, About Time, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, and Hiring Processes to perform duties effectively.

Requirements

• Experience in Workman's Compensation

• Understanding and knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards in HR
