Actalent Quality Manager in NEWARK, California

Job Responsibilities:

  • Comply with customer specific requirements.

  • Establishing of local audit plan with consideration of corporate audit plan.

  • Assure the 8D & QRQC processes at the Plant.

  • Monitoring of product quality to ensure conformance to customer and product safety requirements.

  • Monitoring and ensuring customer satisfaction and service.

  • Monitoring of supplier quality to ensure that all components fulfill their specific requirements.

  • Supplier monitoring and development through SQA function.

  • Report on plant results according to the department indicators.

  • Ensure the fulfillment of quality norms ISO IATF / TS 16949 and customer specifics requirements.

  • Assure the completeness and archive of all relevant products/process data for traceability and product liability.

  • Follow up of all audits as system, product, process, environment, health and safety in accordance with ISO TS and IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 in the plant.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the automotive industry

  • 5 + years experience with quality engineering

  • Experience with leading or managing a team

  • Knowledgeable of ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards
