  • Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

at the is a cutting-edge institute that promotes career development and employment for vulnerable populations. The Workplace Center focuses on program and policy development, research and evaluation, and training and consultation. Following the , the Workplace Center strives to address systemic racism and incorporates antiracist practices throughout its management, programs, and operations.

Reporting to the Workplace Center's Director of Programs, the Program Coordinator will support the implementation and evaluation of the Center's career readiness programming for vulnerable young people (e.g., young people involved in the foster care and juvenile justice systems) and adults (e.g., dislocated workers and those impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic). The Program Coordinator will be able to build their expertise around the challenges and strategies relevant to vulnerable workers in today's labor market by contributing to developing and revising program tools and materials.

THIS POSITION IS 100% GRANT-FUNDED. CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and technical assistance (TA) to staff in partnering agencies in implementing the center's career readiness programs.
  • Track and monitor program implementation.
  • Oversee project timelines and prepare and deliver project deliverables, including quarterly and end-of-year reports.
  • Update career readiness training materials and implementation protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 0 - 2 years of related experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and meet the Workplace Center requirements for timeliness and quality
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social services, MSW, or related field
  • Knowledge of child welfare systems (foster care and juvenile justice)
  • Knowledge of career and workforce development for vulnerable populations
