Your role

Join the People & Culture team on an exciting journey to transform the way we leverage Workday to empower and enable our employees and managers.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of People Analytics within the People & Culture (P&C) team, the Workday Reporting Specialist will join the team on an exciting journey to unlock Workday’s reporting & analytical capabilities across the organization. The specialist will act as a People Analytics Business Partner. You will partner with leaders across HR and the business to democratize the use of data & enable a data-driven culture through thought leadership and consultation. You will collaborate closely with the process team and business process owners to understand various HR Programs, their requirements and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

This position can be located in Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto and travel may be required. Please note that this is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a data translator between the business and the People Analytics team.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders throughout the organization to define their business requirements for reports, then build, test and deploy.

  • Identify areas of opportunity to consolidate and streamline reports.

  • Partner with the process team and business process owners to understand the various HR programs, configuration rationale in Workday & collective agreements.

  • Support the creation/transition of reports and dashboard from legacy systems/tools into Workday.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.

  • In-depth understand of CBC/Radio-Canada’s HR policies

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Innovative thinking, clear analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to explain technology concepts and issues in a manner that business partners understand.

  • Bilingual: French and English is an asset.
