This position is responsible for managing the commercial/administrative/financial sales and bid process for contracts. This position manages the balance to increase the business volume of the company in a sustainable way, managing the risk (contractual, technical, scheduling, customer relationship, etc) to maintain the short and long term profitability and estability of the company keeping as well the highest customer satisfaction in a parthnering manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales and bid team to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts.

  • Work with other departments such as legal, technical, EHS, claim and excecution to ensure that the bid is compliant with simenes policies and procedures as well as with local regulations (Mexico, Colombia and Central America).

  • Colaborate with sales team in researching and identifying new business opportunities.

  • Developing proposals, from the commercial/administrative/financial point of view that meet the client’s requirements and are competitive in the market.

  • Negotiating contracts with clients.

  • Identifying and managing risks associated with the sales and bid process.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar

  • Fluent english

Desired qualifications:

  • Certification as CPM

  • Knowledge of railroad market and portfolio

  • Knowledge of Siemens LoA process

This position allows home office work part of the week.
