We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll/Benefit Manager in Malvern, Pennsylvania. As the Payroll/Benefit Manager involves overseeing payroll processes, benefits management, and human resources tasks in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees

• Manage employee benefits, ensuring they are administered correctly and efficiently

• Maintain and organize employee files, ensuring all information is up to date

• Participate in the recruitment process, assisting in the selection and hiring of new talent

• Oversee performance management procedures, providing guidance and support to team members

• Process payroll for up to 80 employees on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Handle salaried exempt/non-exempt payroll calculations

• Manage garnishments, ensuring they are processed correctly

• Register state taxes and manage related processes

• Oversee workman’s compensation claims and processes

• Handle journal entries related to payroll and benefits when required

Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is desirable

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a plus

• Knowledge of Ceridian software is beneficial

• Ability to perform Data Processing tasks efficiently

• Proficiency in using About Time software is preferred

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary

• Experience in Auditing is a key requirement

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is important

• Compliance management skills are essential
