Why this job matters

EE is undergoing an incredibly exciting period of change, and Marketing plays a key role in the future of our business. The journey to a new EE will require changes to the way we work and collaborate in Marketing, and to the way we work with our partners. We need to become more data-driven in everything we do, and we need to set bold ambitions for the product experience we want to deliver. The Marketing MD is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and strategic thinker to help him and his leadership team drive this strategy forward.

This role will hold an important position within the Marketing Leadership community; helping to ensure a strong strategic narrative, managing alignment, and driving actions across the leadership team. The role will work closely with the Marketing MD and the leadership team, will take lead on ad-hoc problem solving, and will lead or drive strategic projects to deliver the change we need to see. This is an outstanding learning opportunity!

  • Is the interface between the MLT and the Household & GTM team to ensure plans are aligned and executed across the different teams in Marketing. This is key as the Household & GTM team orchestrates and leads a significant share of the planning through the capex planning, and GTM process.

  • Support and drive strategy plans by utilising financial rigor, insights, and acumen as well as influencing stakeholders across Marketing and EE to build financially-sound, data-driven, and executable plans.

  • Contribute in end-to-end project delivery including solving problems by determining the cause of the problem, identifying, prioritising, and selecting alternatives for a solution, and subsequently implementing the preferred solution.

  • Direct change execution, developing and supporting change management strategies to enable long-term success of business initiatives.

  • Lead discussions across the MLT and SLT on strategic issues, generating ideas and creative frameworks, and uses a combination of facts, judgment, and personal impact to build credibility and influence outcomes.

  • Oversee and contribute to the development of clear, compelling presentations to support decision making on strategic topics with senior stakeholders and supports the Marketing MD in preparation for internal and external meetings.

  • Partner with the Marketing MD and HR to influence and drive change to the Marketing ways of working. Lead the implementation of continuous improvement of governance and way of working around the MLT and the extended marketing leadership team.
