Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our full service hotel. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily hotel operations at a high level to ensure outstanding guest service and ensure a great working environment for our staff. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties:
- Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
- Coordinate and execute hotel, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, banquet, and catering departments to meet customer expectations
- Conduct monthly department head meetings to ensure good communications and motivation
- Oversee all aspects of food & beverage service management, including menu planning, food handling, and food production
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the establishment
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified staff members
- Train employees on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols and assist with employee tasks as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire employees
- Understanding of P&L, revenue management, etc. to ensure all departments are profitable and make adjustments as required.
- Experience in hotel, banquet, catering, bartending, or restaurant management
- Excellent interviewing skills to identify top talent for the team
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges promptly
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, staff members, and vendors
- Work well in high pressure stressful situation
At least 3 years previous experience as GM or AGM in the Hotel or Hospitality industry required. We offer very competitive pay based with bonus opportunities.
