Sunrun Employee Relations Representative in Juneau, Alaska

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you play a critical role in supporting Sunrun’s mission to connect people to the cleanest energy on earth. This role sits on Sunrun’s Legal Team within the Employee Relations and Compliance Department.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact to assist in triaging Employee Relations issues, concerns, and inquiries.

  • Assist with investigating and addressing employee policy violations in a fair and timely manner.

  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers in handling employee conflicts and difficult situations effectively.

  • Provide training to employees and managers on company policies and procedures related to employee relations and compliance.

  • Document comprehensive investigatory/fact-finding analysis for interviews and findings

  • Collect, review, interpret, analyze and evaluate statements, documents and physical evidence collected during the investigation and develop recommendations for appropriate remediation or other action

  • Collaborate with People Business Partners and Business Leaders to design action plans where appropriate

  • Analyze employee relations trends and recommend strategies, solutions, programs and policies to mitigate future occurrences and improve employee relations practices

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records, documentation, and case files.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of direct experience in employee relations, investigations, Human Resources or other related field.

  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws that govern employment policies and practices

  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

  • Excellent judgment with the ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence throughout all levels of the organization

  • Ability to objectively present findings to various levels of management
