Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager based in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the management and coordination of accounting functions, specifically focusing on accounts payable, within a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems, particularly PeopleSoft, to manage and process invoices and other financial data

• Resolve discrepancies in the accounts payable process

• Oversee check processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Manage a high volume of data processing tasks to ensure efficiency and accuracy

• Coordinate with senior accounts payable personnel to ensure all tasks are completed as required

• Assist with the management of a large team, ensuring smooth operation and effective communication

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume environment, handling over 1k invoices

Requirements

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Experience in Check Processing is necessary for this role

• Ability to handle and resolve Discrepancies swiftly and accurately

• Experience in Expense Reporting is essential

• Proficiency in using PeopleSoft for accounting operations is required

• The candidate must have excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are required

• A problem-solving attitude along with the ability to make sound decisions is highly desirable

• The candidate must possess a degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or other similar role is necessary.
