Snelling is hiringaPUMP MECHANICfor an engineering company in the Irondale, AL area!As a pump mechanic, youll be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, evaluation,and repair of pumps and rotating equipment. Youll also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and diagnosing failures.1stshiftschedule with overtime as needed.

Starting Pay forPump Mechanic:$20.00-$35.00/hr,depending on experience

Pump Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of pumps used in industrialapplications
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals to determine workprocedures
• Dismantle pumps and inspect components for wear or damage using precision measuring instruments
• Repair or replace worn or damaged parts such as seals, bearings, gears, and other pump components
• Reassemble pumps following repairs and conduct tests to ensure properfunctioning
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairactivities
• Assist in the field installation ofpumps
• Respond to emergency calls to repair pumps that have failedunexpectedly
• Work with vendors to order replacement parts and pumpcomponents

Pump Mechanic Required Qualifications:

• 3+years experienceas a mechanicrequired. Experience with pumps is a huge plus!
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is a must!
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
