This position is a full-time, on-site position at either Moore's Altavista, VA or Charlottesville, VA office locations. Relocation assistance is available.

Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for planning and design of electrical systems associated with construction projects that will meet customer needs in the most value-add manner. This also includes the development of standards and procedures along with evaluation of electrical matters in the field of commercial construction.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Must posses an Electrical P.E. in VA; Licensed Electrical P.E. in both VA and NC a plus

• At least 5 years of construction experience with working knowledge of the electrical trade and familiarity with general construction procedures and practices

• Great computational and spatial ability while maintaining attention to detail

• Advanced working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics and principles

• Exceptional computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit and other engineering software

• Possess excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently with a teamwork mentality
