L.L.Bean is currently looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team in Freeport, ME.

We welcome the opportunity for this role to be hybrid based at the corporate headquarters in Freeport, Maine, or to be based remotely in the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin.

Position Purpose: Provide analytical support to the Finance Department supporting the Operations Areas (Customer Satisfaction, Fulfillment, and Returns), and other areas of the Company as appropriate, to achieve goals and strategic objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships to work collaboratively with peer and partners to plan, coordinate, and execute short and long-range analytical projects.

  • Develop analysis in support of departmental/corporate decision making.

  • Prepare and analyze historical and projected data in support of near term and long-range planning efforts.

  • Prepare monthly reporting/forecasting and annual budgeting.

  • Communicate results of analyses and findings through presentations to various levels of management.

  • Ensure the quality and integrity of data and analyses.

  • Assume additional related responsibilities as requested.

    Education Level: 4-Year bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; MBA or related graduate degree/certification preferred Years of Experience: 5+ years Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and history of relevant financial analytical experience

  • Fully developed expertise in applying analytical techniques and tools and statistical modeling methods

  • Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel competency, as well as proficiency in PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word – experience with SQL or Tableau is a plus.

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Team player, flexible, able to adapt to change

  • Production and results oriented

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to negotiate and influence

  • Conflict management ability

  • Agent for change

  • Organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines consistently; proven ability to juggle multiple priorities

  • Self-motivated. Ability to take ownership of a goal and deliver results.
