Responsibilities As a Security Guard, GS-0085-05 you may be expected to accomplish the following: Observe and report security violations Maintain integrity of assigned posts and areas Protect private and public property Maintain radio communications as appropriate Remain at assigned post until properly relieved and inventoried Manage visitor access to assigned facilities and locations Requirements Conditions of Employment Areas of Consideration: CAT 3: All New Jersey National Guard members of NJARNG Military Grades: E-4 to E-5 Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.
