Fenton Poured Walls Concrete Laborer in Fenton, Michigan

Looking for CONCRETE LABORERS!!!

We are a concrete contractor for formed poured walls for custom home builders and individual home builders and we are looking to employ concrete laborers for excavation, footing and wall to perform tasks that require physical labor on construction site in all types of weather.

Tools required: Hammer, 25' measuring tape, can be purchased at cost through Fenton Poured Walls. Other supplies such as gloves, hard hats, protective eye wear and other miscellaneous items can also be purchased at cost through Fenton Poured Walls, all other tools and materials are provided.

Clothing: Employees are expected to dress accordingly for the work you will be asked to perform. Sturdy work pants and shirts for various weather conditions. Sturdy work boots and tall rubber boots are needed for various job sites.

Pay: Starting pay of $20.00, with experience pay is negotiable.

Benefits: Blue Cross/Blue Shield offered, company pays 80%, employee pays 20%.

Hours: Mon. through Fri., starting time can vary, starting at 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

End time varies between 4 and 5 p.m.

30 minute lunch & breaks offered

Saturdays are optional to work

Closed on Sundays and all Holidays

Transportation to job site is available.

On the job training for this position is offered

Excavation, Footing, Wall Laborer:

  • Assist in railing up basement foundation footings for any configuration as noted in generated footing layout schematic.
  • Able to carry footing boards and other equipment for the purpose of railing and/or striping footing.
  • Assist in preparation of the footing by digging and/or picking ground to right elevation in order to make concrete pour.
  • Footing and strip and load entail repetitive hammering at times, bending and carrying various forms of equipment to assist in job.
  • Able to carry wall panels which vary in size 4' to 9' and other equipment for the purpose of setting wall.
  • Assist in all concrete pours and site clean up.
  • Use measurement to check grades using measuring tape, level or string line.
  • Loading and unloading building material and preparing job site, assisting job crews with necessary tasks as needed.
