We are offering a role for a Plant Accountant in Central, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be part of a team that operates within the manufacturing industry. The role involves the use of various ERP Accounting Software Systems and advanced Excel

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to maintain financial records and reports

• Develop and manage capital expenditure (CapEx) plans and budgets

• Execute various accounting functions to maintain financial health of the organization

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) tasks including invoice processing, payment, and reconciliation

• Facilitate budget processes, including preparation, review, and implementation

• Implement and manage Cost Accounting strategies to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Conduct Cost Analysis to identify cost drivers and opportunities for cost reduction.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of CapEx and its applications in cost accounting

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Ability to perform diverse Accounting Functions proficiently

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Budget Processes and their implementation

• Knowledge in Cost Accounting and Cost Analysis

• Ability to work in compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
