CORTLAND COUNTY PERSONNEL/CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT60 Central Avenue Cortland, NY 13045 607-753-5076 https://www.cortlandcountyny.gov/263/Personnel-Civil-Service NOTICE OF JOB VACANCY Job Title: Multi-Disciplinary Team Facilitator/Safe Harbour CoordinatorThe MDT Facilitator is responsible for focusing on the needs of the CAC Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), while providing leadership in developing and implementing goals and objectives to address the needs of sexually exploited youth up to age 21 years old. This position will include responsibility for facilitating team relationships and team meetings, coordinating joint investigations between Child Protective Services (CPS) and law enforcement, partnering with other counties in the region to bring trafficking awareness, training, and services, developing and promoting community awareness campaigns about the sexual exploitation and trafficking of youth, providing case management to at-risk youth and trafficking victims up to age 21 years old, and overseeing the work of Family Advocates. The work is performed under the supervision of the CAC Coordinator or designee. Does related work as required.Work Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week with benefitsSalary: $21.5585-$27.2876/hr. Position eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:(a)Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services, criminal justice or a closely related field and one (1) years of work experience providing educational services and/or human services; OR(b)Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with an Associate’s degree or higher in human services, criminal justice or a closely related field and three (3) years of work experience providing educational services and/or human services; OR(c)Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and five (5) years of work experience providing educational services and/or human services; OR(d)An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) (b) and (c) above.NOTE:Degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If the degree was awarded by an educational institution outside of the United States and its territories, applicant must provide independent verification of equivalency.
