The role is responsible for leading communications strategic planning and operations for the company's Global Communications organization. This leader will develop and implement a strategic roadmap, analyzing stakeholder environment, driving communications excellence and agility, collaborating with senior management and overseeing budget management for Global Communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a thought partner to the head of Global Communications and leadership team on overall organization strategy and programs. Develop and implement strategic roadmap, in line with the organization’s ambitious vision and mission.

  • Comprehensively analyze the stakeholder environment and gather insights to inform strategic planning, objectives and key business decisions. Lead the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment of departmental and divisional communications strategies.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications excellence program (capability building and ways of working) for GC. Collaborate with key communications leaders to drive up quality standards and increase agility across the communications community. Conduct regular strategic reviews and make recommendations for course correction where necessary.

  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize key business initiatives and ensure their successful execution across GC.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including peers within the GC leadership team and members of the Communications Leadership Team.

  • Organize and coordinate leadership and team alignment through monthly reports and meetings.

  • Support the GC leadership team to develop, roll-out and enforce the required policies, processes and tools that drive agility and communications excellence.

  • Build an environment for excellence across the global communications community by encouraging the use of harmonized processes and providing guidance on quality standards.

  • Foster a culture of consistent measurement of the success of the initiatives developed against a set of goals and integrates learnings back into strategy design, seeking permanent improvement.

  • Oversee budget management for Global Communications, partner closely with business partners in Finance and align with communication leaders to monitor and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, with a strong track record of leadership and of developing and executing strategic corporate and product communications plans.

  • Strategic and creative thinking, with the ability to anticipate and address opportunities and challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Data-driven approach to problem solving, strategy development and decision making.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and evaluate strategic options and make sound decisions.

  • Budget management experience.

  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization and with external partners.

  • Role models the use of new technologies, champions their adoption with colleagues and motivates for change.

  • Collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop a diverse and global team.

  • Exceptionally high degree of integrity, professionalism and ethical standards.

  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$169,400.00 - $266,200.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
