The Agile Governance Lead is a crucial role to the implementation and continuous improvement of the AGCO Digital Product delivery framework based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Agile Governance Lead works closely together with the Solution Train Engineer and Release Train Engineers of the program and other partners outside to it to ensure an efficient and aligned way of working by continuously improving and communicating the Agile Governance.

Specific responsibilities of the Agile Governance Lead are (but not limited to) owning and refining of Agile Governance in close collaboration with other SAFe key roles (e.g. STE, RTE, etc.), coaching product teams, supporting the agile transformation of new teams joining the program and, owning the Azure DevOps setup of the whole program.

The Agile Governance Lead will be working with a varying number of involved teams and functions on a global base.

Your Impact

  • Own and Refine Agile Governance in close alignment with Solution Train Engineer(s) (STEs), Release Train Engineer(s) (RTEs): Take ownership of the Agile Governance process, refining and improving it as necessary to ensure it meets the needs of the organization and its teams.

  • Coach Product Teams: Provide coaching and guidance to product teams on Agile Governance, including areas such as PI Planning preparation, dependency management and backlog refinement.

  • Support Agile Transformation: Assist reorganization efforts and new teams joining the program in their agile transformation, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to successfully adopt Agile practices.

  • Own Azure DevOps setup: Ensure that the configuration and workflows are aligned with the program's needs and best practices.

  • Assist consolidation of reporting: tracking the delivery progress, plan deviations, and capacity utilization of each stream and the program in total.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration or related field

  • Knowledge: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) models as well as expert knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices.

  • Experience: Proven experience in large scale software development programs in the role of a Scrum Master/Agile Coach/RTE in SAFe context, ideally with experience in strategic, large or team transformations

  • Certifications: Agile certifications such as RTE, SPC, SSM is a plus

  • Business fluency in English both spoken and written
