Description A growing organization in Bensalem is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a long term temporary engagement. This engagement is on-site, and the schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm. The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience working in a hospital environment. Strong computer skills, including Excel and Meditich is preferred.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Record accurate details including general ledger account, vendor code, and payment date for each invoice.

• Input invoices into software system on a daily basis, organizing them into batches and processing batches weekly.

• File invoices into individual vendor files upon completion of batches.

• Maintain vendor information in the software system, including updates, additions, and designating vendors for 1099s at year-end.

• Prepare weekly check runs, ensuring accurate matching of accounts payable vouchers to check copies, and sending checks to vendors.

• Handle inquiries from vendors and intercompany regarding invoices and payments.

• Calculate and manage appropriate Use Tax.

• Coordinate with vendors to rectify sales tax calculation issues.

• Provide guidance to other employees on correct procedures for check requests and supply necessary forms.

• Collaborate with auditors by furnishing requested information and documentation during audits.

• Establish new vendor folders for each calendar year to ensure organized record-keeping.
