Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end accounts payable month-end close.

• Apply technical knowledge and judgment to ensure the accuracy of timeliness of AP processing, including the recording of AP activity in the proper period, proper account coding and timely resolution of reconciling items as required.

• Ensure vendor payments are processed timely and accurately.

• Assist with the design and rollout of the procure-to-pay process that would bring in strong controls and visibility on business spend within the organisation.

• Manage and streamline the PO approval process

• Preparation of daily journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations that drive an accurate and timely close

• Manage the T&E review and approval process

• Drive compliance on employee expenses in accordance with the Company’s guidelines

• Own monthly reporting on vendor spend

• Help with accounting system implementation projects to scale accounting operations

• Work with the Controller on various ad hoc projects such as: YE 1099 reporting; accounting process improvements; Audit readiness etc.

Basic Qualification:

• 5+ years of accounting experience in the Accounts Payable function for the US Entities

• Netsuite or other AP tool experience required

• Proven ability to prioritise workloads across team members with minimal supervision

• Detail-oriented, organised and able to perform work at the highest levels of accuracy

• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills to develop a collaborative working relationship with cross-functional teams

• Required to work in partial US office hours

Preferred Qualification:

• Accounting system implementation experience
