Allocate resources to work on projects and design industrial manufacturing processes to meet demand, quality, competitiveness, and customer needs. Ensure that proposed process meets the required product quality, level of investment, and is compatible with the capabilities of the designated plant. Design processes to meet all requirements and evaluate compensation decisions. Liaise with product design stakeholders to ensure feasibility and robustness of the proposed process. Assign price to the design process through budgets/offers and evaluation of personnel needs to support the elaboration of the business plan. Apply company technical standards, process definition guidelines, and design guidelines. Give technical presentations of proposed process to high level management and customers. Evaluate activities relating to process development and process evolution to ensure program timing, feasibility and cost. Offer expertise and technical support to line integrators and the designated plant during initial trial builds, pre-production builds, and launch phases. Provide training, department budget control and KPI management. Incorporate and develop new technologies, tools and techniques related to innovating project management and process definition.
